OnyxOS: floating windows for Canvas, Maps, Music, Docs, Messages, Photos and the App Library in a living room, with Safira, the AI agent, in a glass panel on the right

OnyxOS is the operating system that runs on Quantum Specs. Windows float where you put them, the screen grows or shrinks to suit the room, and the heavy AI runs in the cloud.

The film

OnyxOS, in motion.

A desktop the size of a wall, in half a minute. Turn the sound on for the voiceover.

Your size.

Drag to resize. Up to 100 inches on a train seat, a kitchen table or a hotel bed.

Talk, type, look, pinch or think.

Five ways to work, and you can switch mid-sentence. With the Neural Node, you can control OnyxOS just by thinking.

Say what you need. OnyxOS hears you, Safira does the work.

Asked twice. Every time.

Every call and purchase is confirmed twice. Payments also need a hand gesture by default; you decide whether to keep that on.

Safira

One request. Your whole desktop.

Safira is the AI agent from Flying Sapphire. Today she completes real tasks in a web browser, like booking a flight or shopping. Inside OnyxOS she takes control of your whole desktop: the browser, calendar, messages, files and settings at once. She finishes the job and asks before anything sensitive.

Safira in half a minute. Turn the sound on for the voiceover.

Safira, a colourful glowing ring, in the middle of OnyxOS. Light threads connect her to five floating windows she is using at once: picking the cheapest flight to Rome, adding it to Friday in the calendar, writing to Nitish, saving the ticket and turning on Focus. A card asks: Pay €84 for Malta to Rome? Confirmation 1 of 2.
